Grove Road Box Culvert

Our team were recruited into the Council’s Healthy Waters Team to provide project management support for the construction phase of the Grove Road Box Culvert Project. This project is a component of a large stormwater conveyance scheme to enable development of several special housing areas in Takanini, South Auckland. Auckland Council procured construction of the culvert through a negotiated NZS 3910 contract with HEB construction.

The project includes the construction of the following works:

• A stormwater culvert with inlet and outlet structures (approximately 4m x 3m x 500m long).
• Connections to the Awakeri stormwater channel and McLennan Park wetland.
• Landscaping and pedestrian connections around McLennan Park Wetland.
